This beautifully renovated spacious apartment is perfectly positioned for your stay in Porto.
The access is through 17 steps stairs (no elevator).
The living room window is an authentic living painting with a wonderful view over the river.
The rooms face south and have a sunny balcony. It has 2 full bathrooms with a shower.
The comfortable room allows you to enjoy a well-deserved rest or a relaxing meal without losing sight of the panoramic view - great for a relaxed breakfast or dinner.
The apartment is fully equipped with wi-fi and a smart tv with over 100 tv channels included.
A real home away from home!
It's a very nice area! Fantastic landscapes and wonderful views over the Douro River. In the surrounding area, you will find the cable car and the port wine cellars, and many traditions that will help you not forget this beautiful city!
It has several supermarkets, restaurants, and shops.
There is currently a building under construction on the street, which may cause some noise during the day on weekdays. As this is external to the property, we cannot control or predict the exact days when work will take place. The construction is always paused at night and on weekends.
- Stays of unaccompanied minors are not allowed.
- Subscribing to channels not included in the TV package will incur an additional charge for the corresponding service;
- In case of non-return of the keys, a fee of €100 will be charged for each pair of keys.
-If during your stay you leave the keys inside the house, an extra fee will be charged according to the following schedule: weekdays between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM: €50; other days/times: €100.
- We promote the sustainable use of resources: excessive consumption may be charged;
- The facilities can only be used by registered guests;
- Cleaning can be provided during your stay for an extra cost of €50.
- We do not accept large animals. Only 1 animal per booking. To avoid noise and/or damage, animals cannot be left unattended in the apartment. Owners must ensure cleanliness and hygiene within the apartment and building.
- Garbage must be deposited in the bin;
- The property allows self check-in: however, after 10:00 PM we are unable to provide support upon arrival;
- If you choose an in-person check-in, it is important to provide your arrival time at least 48 hours in advance. If you do not arrive within 30 minutes of the scheduled time, the host may need to leave and a new appointment will be required, subject to availability. Check-ins after 10:00 PM require prior confirmation and have an additional fee of €25;
- Failure to comply with the check-out time requires a payment of €25 for each hour of delay.
- Treat the house as if it were your own. Leave everything as you found it.
Guests have access to all spaces in the house
If guests need anything. I am available to socialize and provide some information about local and/or touristic places, if guests want me to. But I also understand that some guests prefer to dig and decide for themselves, so I provide a bind you several touristic information in the apartment.
- It is possible to include an extra cleaning service during your stay (cost €50/stay). Children under 2 years old can be accommodated in a crib at a cost of €30 (prior reservation required).
- There is a dossier with detailed rules about the property in a digital format whose address is posted in the apartment.
- All guests must present a valid ID.
- A city tax is applied to all guests staying at properties located in Vila Nova de Gaia.
- At the back if the apartment there are some court yards, so it is possible to hear dog barking.
- The climate in Portugal can be hot and humid at certain times of the year, which may encourage the appearance of mosquitoes, ants, or other small insects. Although we use regular pest control services, we cannot guarantee that an occasional insect won't enter our home, nor can we offer refunds if this occurs. We do everything possible to prevent this situation and kindly ask our guests to help by keeping the doors closed, disposing of trash properly, and storing food responsibly.
